Studio picks up 'August' film
Movie giant Harvey Weinstein has signed on as a producer of "August: Osage County," the big-screen version of Steppenwolf's Tony-winning hit. His Weinstein Co. will distribute the film, now being penned by "August" playwright Tracy Letts. Jean Doumanian and Chicago's Steve Traxler are the other producers.
