The Trouble with "Stunning"
The mixed reviews that have welcomed David Adjmi's "Stunning" are troubling me. If you look at the handy Critic-o-Meter, you'll see that I'm the local critic who liked this production the best. Most of my colleagues have problems with the play being unrealistic, an issue enhanced by Anne Kauffman's decidedly stylized production.
